Epic Holiday Sale and Giveaway Update
In case you missed it in our post yesterday, all registered Epic Games accounts are receiving a $10 coupon that you can use in addition to the sales prices.
We also found out that if you add multiple purchases to a cart, the coupon will apply to each purchase. While this is probably a bug, and may be corrected, take advantage while you can.
Epic’s Holiday Game Giveaway game for today is Remnant From the Ashes.
Metacritic 78% / Steam Very Positive
This is very exciting for me, as Remnant From The Ashes was probably the favorite game I’ve played in 2021.
Remnant is often referred to a Souls game with guns. I never found this to be true. I believe Remnant is what happens when you stick Borderlands and Battleborn (R.I.P) into a blender.
The weapons mods are fantastic, graphics are decent, and the boss fights are wonderful.
The biggest flaw of Remnant is the voice chat doesn’t work properly in the PC version. Pick this today while it’s free. I would also recommend the Subject 2923 DLC which gives you an entire new campaign to go through.

Mafia Definitive Edition - Epic Games - $9.99 W/ Coupon
The Mafia remake with beautiful graphics and updated gameplay for only $9.99.
Mafia is a fantastic story driven game where you get to play as a probation era mobster. It has a perfect balance of action scenes and storytelling. Just released in 2020, this low price is unheard of so take advantage now!
We Happy Few - Gamesbillet - $4.75
We Happy Few is a highly under rated game. With an interesting story, clockwork orange stylized characters, good stealth, and good mechanics, it is a no brainer.
The best part is, once you finish the game you play again as a different character. While the game is similar new mechanics are added, and your characters story is different to keep things fresh. We Happy Few is well worth $5.
Code Vein - Indiegala - $11.99
I’ve seen many people compare Code Vein to Dark Souls. This is not a very accurate comparision.
Code Vein has a similar play style to Dark Souls, but make no mistake, this is an Anime game. The skills and progression are very different and, in many ways, much easier than Dark Souls.
Code Vein is a phenomenal co-op experience. Purchase it with a friend while it’s on this great holiday deal. You won’t be disappointed.
Detroit Become Human - Epic Games - $9.99 w/ coupon
Detroit becoming human is one of the best storytelling games I have played. It by far is some of David Cage’s best writing yet.
Quantic Dream has released a series of story driven games. Detroit Become Human shows the lessons they have learned along the way. This game will make you think and feel things you never thought a PC game could.
Sunset Overdrive - Microsoft Store - $4.99
Sunset Overdrive is an older, but still fun, game. It is a fast high action shooter where you fight OD’s (mutated people that drank too much energy drink).
It’s a load of fun. It’s almost like Rachet and Clank and Dead Rising had a baby. And the best part? It can probably run on a toaster.
While the graphics are a little dated, it is definitely worth picking up and playing.
