holiday game deals

I have been shopping holiday sales for pc games for a long time.  The holiday pc game sales this year far better than prior years.  Here are 5 PC Game sales you won’t want to miss and an update on Epic’s Holiday Giveaway.

Epic Holiday Sale and Giveaway Update

In case you missed it in our post Friday, all registered Epic Games accounts are receiving a $10 coupon that you can use in addition to the sales prices.

We also found out that if you add multiple purchases to a cart, the coupon will apply to each purchase.  We have not tested this since Friday and it may be corrected by now, but it’s worth giving it a try for maximum savings

Epic’s Holiday Game Giveaway game for today is The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

the vanishing of ethan carter
Metacritic 81% / Steam Very Postiive

The vanishing of Ethan Carter is a detective mystery adventure set in the early 1900’s.  The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a narrative.

It lets you freely explore and is not going to hold your hand while you do it.  Its focus is on tone, storytelling, and a freedom to explore you don’t experience in many games.

Don’t forget to get this today, while it’s free.  You can claim it from now until tomorrow December 20th, 2021, at 10am CT.

Holiday Game Deals for Today

Assassin's Creed Unity - Ubistore - $2.49 w/ Coupon Code hello22

assassins creed unity
Metacritic 70% / Steam Mostly Positive

Though often ranked as the worst Assassin’s Creed game, Unity still provides a great play experience.

The parkour is not as fun in Unity as other Assassin’s Creed titles, but the graphics are impeccable, and the story is very engaging.

I don’t recommend this as your first Assassin’s Creed game, but really, for less than $3 you can’t go wrong either way.

Civilization VI Anthology - Epicgames - $18.99 w/ Coupon

civilization vi
Metacritic 88% / Steam Very Positive

This is one of the highest savings on any holiday game deals out there.

Civilization was one of the original RTS games and it’s still going strong to this day.  The anthology edition includes every DLC for Civ VI.

For new Civ players the amount of content includes in this pack can be overwhelming.  Civilization VI Platinum is also available from Epic Games for only $5.19 with the coupon.  Both are amazing deals.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps - Microsoft - $9.99

ori and the will of the wisps
Metacritic 90% / Steam Overwhelmingly Positive

If you’ve never played one of the Ori games, they are excellent platformers set in a fairytale world.

Ori’s world is mesmerizing.  If you’ve played other Ori Games, The Will of the Wisps offers more choice, more diversity, and more detail than ever before.

It even has an amazing soundtrack to boot.

Halo Master Chief Collection - Microsoft - $19.99

halo master chief collection
Metacritic NA / Steam Very Positive

With Halo Master Chief Collection, you aren’t getting one game for $20.00.  You are getting Six.

Experience Halo 1-6 all of Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo ODST, Halo 4, and Halo Reach.

One of the great things about Halo Master Chief Collection is you can play the original games on most older hardware, or if you have newer hardware you can play the remastered versions.

Experience the whole Halo journey by picking up The Master Chief Collection today!

Alan Wake Remastered - Epicgames - $13.99 w/ Coupon

alan wake remastered
Metacritic 83% / Steam Very Positive

Remedy Software always does a great job with storytelling, and Alan Wake is no exception.

Experience the heart pounding action sequences, emotional storytelling, and the subtle but effective horrors of Alan Wake.

Now remastered with state of the art graphics, Alan Wake is well worth it.
