Top Games Under 10 Dollars
In AI: The Somnium Files you play as Detective Kaname Date. A serial killer is on the loose so you must examine crime scenes as well as dreams to find the killer.
AI: The Somnium files is not going to be for everyone. It is highly anime based. Those who do not enjoy this style of graphics / story may not enjoy this game. That being said, I am not a huge fan of Anime and I did love this game.
AI: The Somnium files branches the story and the ending based on the decisions you make. I found the story to be intriguing enjoy to keep my eyes glued to the screen for 4 days in a row.
If your a fan of anime, or a fan of choose your own adventure style games, I’d highly recommend AI: The Somnium Files.
The Division 2 is an online action-adventure RPG. The game takes place shortly after a genetically mutated virus named “Green Poison” has been released. You and the strategic homeland division try to rebuild the city.
I’ve owned The Division 2 for 2 years and still have not played it. That being said, everything I’ve heard from friends who have played it has been positive.
Cloudpunk is best described as Eurotruck simulator set in a Cyberpunk looking environment that someone built in Minecraft.
The best part of the game is the people you characters you meet along the way. I also love the unique graphical styling that they used which is very much a combination of Minecraft and Cyberpunk.
I didn’t think I would enjoy this game when I first heard about it. Once I started playing, I couldn’t get enough of it.
The quick description for Barotrauma on Steam is “Barotrauma is a 2D co-op submarine simulator – in space, with survival horror elements”.
I can’t describe it any better than that. Barotrauma’s game play is actually feels like a larger version of FTL.
You can view your sub from the side and wander around as caption, engineer, doctor, or mechanic. There are a ton of interaction points including waterpumps, engines, and more. This leads to a lot of points that can break.
There are also alien horrors that will cause damage to your vessel and it’s components.
While you can play single player with bots, multiplayer is where Barotrauma really shines. Trying to get everyone to work together to repair things and take care of situations as they occur can be absolute chaos, but it’s also absolute fun.
Dishonored 2 takes what the first game built and does an excellent job of adding to it. You can play as either Emily, who is an empress, or Corvo, who is a Royal Protector.
The great part about Dishonored 2 is you can choose your playstyle and how you want to progress through the game. You can play a complete stealth game, use your weapons and mystical abilities in combat, or mix play styles.
I’ve only completed Dishonored 2 with Emily’s storyline. I enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed the First Dishonored (which was one of the first games that held my attention long enough for me to finish it).
I highly recommend Dishonored 2.
